Opposite of Kal Ho Na Ho (Tomorrow may or may not be there)
X: “One day we will all die, Snoopy.”
Snoopy: “True, but on all other days we will not.”
I found this stellar.
It is true that ONE DAY we will all die, but it is also true that ALL OTHER days we won’t. So technically the probability of dying tomorrow is very less. Yes, while it is important to live life thinking that that day can be any day – we also need to plan for tomorrow and make the most of today.
If I were honestly dying tomorrow, I would not be doing anything today that invests in my future or myself. For example, working or blogging would not be on my agenda. My plan would truly be for that exact given moment or brief period of time. Life would both figuratively and literally be a short sprint. But, in reality, life is a marathon where the journey and every step of the way matters. It is an upward path where each day we should be striving to be better off than the previous day.
Let’s take life with a pinch of salt, where in the bigger picture we keep the thought of death in our minds to constantly do things that matter and we are passionate about. But, at the same time, let’s not make this an excuse to be lazy and escape the realities of today.
Let’s not shy away from investing full forces to be a better and fresher version of ourselves with every break of dawn.
